Her entrance into the school turns out to be rather unusual, when her ninja-kite crashes into the village's torii. The just arrived and newly assigned teacher Marikoji Hayato — forced to take on this demanding teaching job due to debt — rushes to save Himawari, his to-be student. Along with the series, an exclusive on-line only 4koma was released shortly after the anime finished airing. It ridiculed random scenes from the anime in reference to other anime (ninja-themed?) such as Naruto.
